This email is to say big thank you for organizing the mindfulness sessions. Not only I enjoyed last and this year meetings but also learned a few practical tips to help me when things are not quite right or times stressful.
Here is how I used that knowledge in practice. 3 weeks ago I was attending an exam, needless to say I was really stressed, tired and worried what if I don’t pass… I decided to try the breathing exercise we have been practicing with Damien shortly before going to the exam center.
A few minutes into the this exercise I felt like the whole stress and anxiousness I build up is fading away and eventually disappearing altogether.
I knew the breathing would help but was not expecting such a huge and positive change it would have on my mind and body at that time.
At the end of this practice I was extremely calm and relaxed, I also was able to stay calm throughout duration of the whole exam!
I kept using this technique since daily and feel it is working wonders.

For progressive organisations who wish to offer some extra well-being for their employees I deliver a series of 5 mindfulness session. Usually first thing in the morning and over Zoom or Teams. They each take the same format, fifteen to twenty minutes of how we think and managing stress followed by a short mindfulness session / meditation. Taking time to focus on being present and managing our thoughts.
